OLD CITY TOUR

Meet your guide and begin your full-day exploration of Istanbul. Start with Hagia Sophia, once the spiritual heart of the Byzantine Empire, serving both as a church and later as a mosque, admired for its massive dome and unique blend of architectural styles.
Continue to the Blue Mosque, built by Sultan Ahmet I in 1616. With its six minarets and magnificent interior decoration, it remains one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Next, visit the Hippodrome, the ancient sporting and social center of Constantinople, where chariot races and public events once took place. Here, you will also see the German Fountain, a beautiful neo-Byzantine monument gifted by Kaiser Wilhelm II during his visit to Istanbul in 1898.
Proceed to the Topkapi Palace, the imperial residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries. Explore its courtyards, opulent chambers, and treasury filled with priceless artifacts.
End your day at the Grand Bazaar, a vibrant maze with 18 gates and more than 4,000 shops offering everything from carpets and textiles to spices and jewelry.
